Hidden Creek Estates is a versatile property situated in Roscoe, IL, owned by Kerry & Dude Frank with their family Jared & Kim Malavolti. It serves as a luxury wedding venue, offers vacation rentals, hosts special and corporate events, and maintains a wine bar. The owners, the Frank family, dedicatedly preserve its natural beauty and historical value. 

The Frank family purchased the property in order to preserve its 185 years of history, natural beauty, and local farming income. Initially unsure of what to do with it, they hosted a wedding for a family member when her venue cancelled due to Covid-19. This sparked the idea of turning it into a special events venue, which has since expanded to include a wine bar and vacation rentals.

In addition to being a stunning venue for events, Hidden Creek Estates also features four vacation rentals, a wine & whiskey bar with an extensive selection of wines, beers, and whiskey, and the opportunity to reserve a winter igloo. Visitors can also enjoy exploring 3 miles of manicured trails or fishing in our half-acre pond (if you are a house guest).

Effective 11/15/2023, our wine & whiskey bar is open Wednesday through Saturday, 4 pm to 10 pm.

Yes, Hidden Creek Estates allows you to reserve an igloo for 2 hours each night they are open to the public. Reservations cost $50 (plus transaction fee) and you can find a link to book here! Make sure to choose “Igloo Experience” as your seat location. Each igloo seats anywhere from 2 – 10 guests.

We can accommodate up to 10 guests in each igloo. If you have a party larger than 10, you can reserve 2 igloos (dependent on availability).

Definitely not! Each reservation has the igloo private to themselves, whether it is 2 people or 10 people for the 2 hour reservation.

The igloos are heated with sufficient heaters for any weather above 0 degrees. However, you may want to wear a sweater or have a light jacket available for inside for when the door is opened.

The short answer – no. We have two full time, accomplished chefs on the team ready to prepare something delicious for you. However, if you are bringing a celebration cake, you can ask the host to store it away when you arrive and we can bring it when the time is right!

As in most situations, smart business casual is admired but never required. We hold to maintain a casual and fun environment where all can feel comfortable in whatever attire they have on.

Yes, Hidden Creek Estates offers four luxurious vacation rentals. They provide a comfortable and convenient option for event guests or anyone looking for a peaceful retreat or accommodations for your wedding party during your big day! You may find our listings on Airbnb here! Nightly prices are dependent on the current market pricing determined by Airbnb.

Yes, we are proud to support our local community by hosting various community events. Please check our events calendar on the website for upcoming activities.

Yes! We donate 1 private wine tasting each month and it is distributed on a first asked basis. You may reach out to [email protected] to be considered. Organizations must have 501c3 status.

You may email [email protected] to be considered. Please include band name, style of music, samples of your music, and desired compensation for a 3 hour performance. We ask you refrain from calling our main line as we receive dozens of new requests a year and established musicians that have been with us since our opening get first scheduling priority. Hidden Creek Estates licenses live music through ASCAP and you will be held responsible for any unlicensed music played outside of their repertoire that is not an original. 

Being on over 60 acres of farm, woods, and outdoor space, we try to make every space and experience accessible. Guests who need accommodations can always be dropped off by the garage of the guest cottage (the closest point to the barn) before parking. We have 2 handicap spots in front of the guest cottage or general parking in our gravel lot if you do not have a handicap tag.

We can provide a golf cart ride if you need to get to a space that is not easily accessible to you. In order to get the most timely golf cart service, we ask you call our main line beforehand at 815-242-2099 to tell us your expected arrival time as we have to retrieve it from its temperature controlled storage on the property.

The best place to briefly unload is by the garage of the guest cottage. We have carts and large wagons there that you may use. We ask that you immediately move your car to our main gravel lot after unloading.
